Creators Dawoon and Arum Kang are sisters from Seoul, Korea who wanted to create an online dating platform that understood women. The name CMB reflects this, with women & men getting up to 21 curated matches per day (bagels). The app was featured on SharkTank and has been a top-performing dating app since.
CMB’s curated matches are highly vetted based on your personal characteristics, network, & lifestyle preferences. They also take into account your location, so you’ll likely have more potential matches in a smaller area than on some other apps.
The app has a few premium features like Priority Likes, which are similar to Tinder Super Likes but cost more. These boost your profile’s chance of a bagel “liking” you back by 25%.
Another feature is the app’s Discover section, which allows you to browse profiles on your own. The site uses your Facebook profile to find similar interests & match you with others in your area. However, the Discover section isn’t free.
